The Palermo offers an appealing alternative layout that provides the luxury of a permanent fixed bed with the practicality of an enormous storage locker below. Built on the new long wheelbase of the Peugeot Boxer, the Palermo provides a generous area for dining and entertaining that is tastefully furnished with high-quality fabrics and superb cabinetwork to provide the harmonious warmth and ambience that is the Auto-Sleepers hallmark. Carefully crafted and beautifully finished by Cotswold craftsmen, the interior exudes attention to detail. Curved high-level lockers and sculptured furniture enhance the air of quality. Practicality is again blended with luxury in a layout that places the spacious dinette conveniently opposite the central kitchen. The latter is bristling with the most modern appliances including a full height four burner stove and oven, matching sink and drainer and the Dometic 77 litre refrigerator with full-width freezer compartment. A folding extension at the end of the sink unit gives extra useful workspace. The versatile layout, featuring forward facing seats for traveling and flexible sleeping accommodation makes the Palermo the ideal family vehicle. Total year-round comfort is assured by high levels of insulation and a powerful hot water and blown air heating system. The double bed, measuring 1.905 m x 1.32 m, is a permanent fixture at the rear of the vehicle. The offside single bed measures 1.855 m x 0.94 m. The overcab bed measures 1.8 m x 1.016 m.

All Group B models have stereo cassette player, power steering, driver's airbag, central locking, lockable security box, wardrobe and other storage spaces, screens and blinds, shower and fitted cassette toilet, a kitchen with sink, refrigerator (running off gas, 240V AC, and 12V DC), four-burner stove and oven, fire extinguisher and blanket, smoke alarm, cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery. All vehicles, as implied above, have a 240 Volt AC system in addition to a 12 Volt DC battery and mains charging. Inboard water and heated waste water tanks round out the the vehicles' winter readiness. What's more, all forward-facing seats are fitted with lap and diagonal safety belts.
