| A Maui vehicle passage northward is free
of charge for IdeaMerge clients
if the ferry passage occurs in the duration
21 April 2008 – 30 September 2008 and if the
rental duration is at least 10 days; yet the charge for occupants does remain.
All passengers accompanying the vehicle must be booked through IdeaMerge
at the time of the vehicle booking. Of course the
ferry passage is subject to availability.
Otherwise, you can book directly with
Interislander their
discounted one-way, "Easy Change" internet fares
both for your vehicle and for its occupants (i.e. foot passengers). Those fares are
presented below, although they are subject to change without notice.
It's a good idea to pre-book such ferry passage for the November–March
duration. Easy Change fares (the most flexible yet most expensive of the three
kinds of fares) are the only fares which the ferry company allows
international clients
to book before arriving in New Zealand. Crossing
time is approximately 3 hours.
