Approximately a Toyota Matrix or Pontiac Vibe.
The Scenic is the most popular vehicle in Europe.
If the Scenic had a motto, it would be something like:
"Build up and then build out."
In this car-meets-minivan you sit in a sort of bubble
high off the road
— hence the name Scenic.
Yet the vehicle's otherwise modest dimensions let you park it with
notable ease.
Said verticality is nevertheless of course carefully engineered to conserve safety.
Lengthwise the "Grand" version is indeed considerably
longer than the regular Scenic.
Designed for maximum comfort and adaptability,
the Scenic is particularly
suited for families. The backs of each rear seat fold down to make tables,
and off the backs of the front seats are tray tables that can be pulled down,
as on an airplane. There's even a cooler allowing you
to keep three softdrinks cold while the air conditioning is on.
The Scenic also offers some 91 liters of miscellaneous storage space distributed
throughout the interior including a central bin with electric lock.
The regular Scenic comes with 5 seats only.
The 7-seat version of the Scenic Grand. In other words, the Scenic Grand also comes in a 5-seat version minus the two rear seats.
|
The two rear seats of the 7-seat version of the Scenic Grand fold right into the floor!
increasing the luggage capacity to 550 liters (19.41 cubic feet).
And the three central seats in all Scenic models can be easily folded down or
forward, or slid backward or forward.
Moreover, these three seats can be easily removed; but, sorry, Renault will not deliver the vehicle to you with any
less than the full complement of seats, and neither will Renault store the
seats for you if you remove them.
