| Stylish and practical in equal measure,
the fully redesigned 2010 Mégane wagon is lively yet exceedingly responsive and safe,
The vehicle features a folding front passenger seat and a longer wheelbase than the hatchback verison.
Moreover, it comes with factory installed longitudinal roof bars (i.e. running in the long dimension of the vehicle).
This wagon's excellent handling owes largely to a new "horned" subframe and to an extensively revised electric power steering system.
Braking is crisp and precise.
If a sudden loss of grip occurs, the power-assisted steering system (ESP) corrects the path of the vehicle so that complete control is maintained.
Following in the footsteps of the 2009 Mégane hatchback, which achieved the maximum EuroNCAP crash test score of 37 points from 37 at the end of 2008,
the new Renault Mégane wagon has benefited fully from the ongoing progress achieved by Renault not only in the field of safety,
but also in quality and respect for the environment.
A full 95% of the weight of the new Mégane wagon can be recycled. Indeed, Mégane was
the first Renault designed according to
Life-cycle Environmental Management.
