The ergonomical passenger compartment features high-end
materials and sculpted forms lending a notable refinedness to the
vehicle. Indeed if there is one word which best describes the Laguna,
it is finesse.
Laguna II was the first car in history to obtain a score of
5 stars in the Euro NCAP crash tests.
The latest version offers further
improvements in active and passive safety, namely
Renault's third-generation protection system, electronic stability
program (ESP) and emergency braking assist. Other such enhancements
include a special device to prevent
driver knee damage arising from forward sliding under impact
conditions, and head protection for child passengers thanks to
special retractable child headrests on the rear seats.
