A new, practical Coupé–Roadster
There's no reason the freedom associated with wind-in-the-hair motoring should be the exclusive
reserve of the higher-end segments.
With the Wind, Renault satisfies the demand for a small convertible
that can serve as an everyday car for two adults.
Sporty and efficient, the Renault Wind is carefully designed to serve as an everyday car.
The interior of the Wind is roomy enough even for tall or large people. Moreover, the Wind's clever and unique folding roof design (see below) does not enter the trunk
cargo area — leaving the trunk dimensions unchanged whether the top is "up" or "down".
Nevertheless, we recommend the use of soft-sided luggae with this vehicle.
A commitment to safety
Renault's new Wind boasts a great many safety features commonly reserved for the higher end models:
four wheel anti-lock brakes, multiple airbags, automatic headlight and windscreen wiper activation, just to name a few.
The Wind's top retracts in just 12 seconds — and when down it does not eat in to the luggage area. (Shown above many times faster for the purpose of illustration.)
